Introduction

Working Principle

The main function of the bi-directional counterbalance valve is to provide locking in both directions:

Positive direction work: when the system pressure is higher than the set pressure inside the valve, the hydraulic oil can flow freely, allowing the load to rise or fall.
Reverse direction operation: when the system pressure is lower than the set pressure inside the valve, the pilot operated check valve inside the valve closes, preventing the oil flow in the reverse direction, thus preventing the load from falling.
