Introduction
A balance valve is a hydraulic component that combines the functions of a check valve and a balance valve, and is mainly used to control the direction and speed of the fluid flow to ensure the smooth operation of the hydraulic system when the load changes. It allows the fluid to flow freely in one direction, while remaining closed in the reverse by a set pressure.
Counterbalance valves work on the principle that when liquid flows in one direction, the spool is opened, allowing the liquid to pass through, while when the flow is reversed, the spool closes, preventing the liquid from flowing back if the pressure is below a set value. This design ensures that in a hydraulic system, the speed of movement of the load is not affected by external conditions, thus maintaining the stability of the system.
