Introduction

The hydraulic lock is used in the hydraulic systems such as the outrigger circuit of construction machinery and lifting machinery, the self-locking of the press and the locking of the support wall jack in the mine. In order to make the working mechanism stop at any position and not move under the influence of external load, the hydraulic lock is used to form the locking system.
 

Hydraulic locks usually consist of a main valve and a pilot valve. Under normal operating conditions, the main valve remains closed under the control of the pilot valve, preventing the flow of oil. When locking is required, the pilot valve opens or closes according to the control signal (e.g. electromagnetic signal), thus controlling the opening and closing of the main valve.
