Product Description
Single balance valves control the flow of oil during the extension and retraction of a single-acting hydraulic cylinder. When the cylinder extends, the valve allows oil to flow freely from the pump to the cylinder, providing power and control over its movement. However, during retraction or lowering of the cylinder, the valve restricts or regulates oil flow. This restriction or regulation ensures that the cylinder descends at a controlled and gradual speed, preventing sudden drops or uncontrolled movements. It also helps prevent damage to components caused by excessive pressure or rapid descent.
In addition to controlling descent speed, single balance valves also provide load stability. They are designed with an adjustable spring that applies force against a poppet or spool inside the valve. This force opposes pressure from hydraulic fluid trying to move in one direction and creates a counterbalance effect
