This variable positioning feature allows for metering notches in the spools, providing flow/speed control and directional control functions in one valve. No separate valves are needed for direction and speed control. Multiple speeds can be achieved by adjusting the electrical signal level, eliminating the need for additional hydraulic components. These valves are DC power controlled.
