Introduction

A hydraulic lock is a locking device used in a hydraulic system to achieve positional locking of a cylinder or motor. The working principle of the hydraulic lock is based on the characteristics of the hydraulic check valve. This allows unidirectional flow of oil, but in the reverse flow, the oil pressure must be controlled in order to open the valve and achieve the locking and releasing.
