Introduction

Hydraulic locks operate on the principle that liquids cannot be compressed in closed containers. When the control valve is closed, the hydraulic fluid enters the hydraulic cylinder. As the hydraulic fluid cannot be compressed, the hydraulic lock is able to block and unlock the object by controlling the opening and closing status of the valve.

Even without a control signal, hydraulic locks maintain actuator stability, preventing unintended movement due to gravitational forces or external influences.
