Hydraulic lock is an important component in the hydraulic system, mainly used in the hydraulic cylinder or motor oil circuit to realize the function of locking, to prevent the role of heavy objects in the self-sliding. A hydraulic lock is usually composed of two hydraulic check valves in parallel, through the internal control of the oil circuit to realize the oil circuit on and off.
The application of hydraulic lock is mainly concentrated on the need for static locking load occasions, such as automobile crane outriggers, horizontal directional drilling, shear differential boarding trucks, and so on. It is not suitable for negative load dynamic speed control where the load varies greatly.
It is not suitable for dynamic speed control of negative loads with large load variations. When installing the hydraulic lock, it is recommended to install it between the throttle valve and the slide valve to ensure that the hydraulic lock can quickly lock the actuator.
