Balancing valves are the cornerstone of hydraulic systems in construction machinery and other gravity-lowered mechanical forms. Equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic circuit, these valves meticulously balance the return oil back pressure against fluctuating loads. This ensures the load can be reliably halted at a desired position and maintains balanced movement when the load is lowered. Such precise control prevents the load from descending too rapidly, thereby safeguarding structural components, hydraulic parts, and pipelines from potential damage.

Overcenter valves play a critical role in controlling an actuator's motion and stopping it in one or both directions. Single overcenter valves manage one direction, while dual overcenter valves handle both, providing comprehensive control over the actuator's function.
Functions:
- Load lowering control: Enables load lowering only when there is pilot pressure from the other line, ensuring the cylinder's oil supply and preventing cavitation issues.
- Pressure containment: Maintains pressure at a set value and provides pressure relief during peaks caused by shocks or overloads.
- Flow and load arrest: Halts the flow and load when the pump is inactive or the directional valve is in a neutral position.
- Free flow for load lifting: Facilitates load lifting with minimal pressure drops.
