A hydraulic relief valve is one of the most essential pressure control components in modern hydraulic systems, widely recognized as the core safety and pressure regulation device for hydraulic equipment. Its primary function is to maintain stable system pressure and protect hydraulic circuits and key parts from damage caused by overpressure overload. Under normal operating conditions, the valve remains closed. When the hydraulic system pressure rises to the preset threshold, the spool overcomes the spring preload to open the overflow channel, diverting excess hydraulic oil back to the fuel tank. This effectively limits the maximum working pressure of the whole system and keeps the pressure within a safe and stable range. Relief valves are mainly divided into direct-acting type and pilot-operated type. The direct-acting structure is simple with sensitive response, suitable for small-flow and low-pressure working conditions. The pilot-operated type features stable pressure regulation, small pressure deviation and strong bearing capacity, ideal for large-flow and high-pressure complex hydraulic systems. Manufactured with high-precision machining and wear-resistant alloy materials, the valve boasts excellent sealing performance, low leakage, long service life and stable mechanical performance under frequent startup and pressure fluctuation. |
